About Activaited Inc.
Our Mission: Exponentially Raising the Power of People
Activaited Inc. is a Public Benefit Corporation using ethics-aligned AI to increase transparency, accountability, and ethical integrity across individuals, organizations, and markets—by building AI-powered infrastructure that transforms ethical signals into trust systems and civic infrastructure that serve the public interest and the future of work.
Who We Are
Activaited Inc. is a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation building the world’s first full-stack trust infrastructure for modern workplaces and capital markets.
Our Mission
Protect employees. Empower employers. Inform investors.
Making hidden risks visible to reduce volatility and improve outcomes.
Public Benefit Statement
To increase transparency, accountability, and ethical integrity across organizations, markets, and society by developing Al-powered tools that amplify individual voice, support ethical decision-making, and deliver trustworthy signals for employees, consumers, investors, and institutions.
First Principles
- Employee Protection Is Foundational.
Participation must always be safe, anonymous by design to all parties – including Activaited – and protected from retaliation. Privacy and safety is paramount even if it reduces data quality or business results. Protection comes first. Our Conduct JournalTM lets employees capture their lived work experience in structured, portable records that belong to them. - Truth Through Aggregation, Not Exposure.
We don’t expose individuals or adjudicate claims. We convert workplace observations into measurable signals through statistical aggregation and pattern recognition. Credibility and validity come from collective evidence and statistical significance, never from individual disclosure. - Neutral Infrastructure for All Stakeholders.
We are neither adversary nor advocate-we are neutral infrastructure that serves all stakeholders through transparent and unbiased information. We maintain shareholder standing through symbolic minority positions and provide evidence-based ethics and conduct intelligence as part of our public benefit purpose. We deliver data analytics and research only-not investment advice - Continuity Over Time.
Issues evolve so our analytics evolve with them. We track whether significant problems are addressed or ignored, if interventions work or fail. Static snapshots hide reality- longitudinal tracking and causal feedback loops reveal truth. - Measured Impact.
Success is measured through member adoption, and the use of our signals to inform relevant decisions that improve corporate accountability, reduce risks, and foster improved workplaces and transparent markets-never aspirational statements alone. Every signal is grounded in verified, privacy-protected evidence from employee experience, ensuring that progress is measured by observable conduct. - Market-Driven Accountability.
Change happens through market forces and capital flows, not regulation alone. By making conduct intelligence visible to employees and investors, we enable both labor mobility and capital flow to reward lower risk operating environments, while pricing conduct risk through our Conduct VaR framework – creating faster, forward-looking accountability. - Invested Responsibility & Fiduciary Duty.
As direct shareholders, we have investor standing and fiduciary duty to surface material conduct risks. Our incentives are tied to delivering value to all stakeholders, creating partnership rather than adversarial relationships. With investor standing we have a fiduciary duty to surface material conduct risks. Likewise, covered companies and their Boards bear a corresponding fiduciary duty-under Caremark, SOX, and SEC standards – to assess and, where necessary, act upon risks escalated by Activaited, creating a closed accountability loop that ensures conduct risk cannot be ignored once known. - Escalation Boundaries.
We capture observations, not allegations, and do not adjudicate misconduct. Our responsibility is to return statistically significant patterns to employers through their governance systems-never to expose individuals or bypass due process. We create early warnings, not verdicts. In exceptional circumstances where aggregated signals indicate material information or imminent risk, we follow documented escalation protocols that prioritize employer notification, require independent review, preserve observer anonymity, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Our Investor Status
Activaited Inc. is not just a platform—we are also an active participant in the capital markets. As an independent investor, Activaited Inc. holds direct equity positions in the same public companies covered by the Workforce Pulse Survey™. This gives us legal standing, shareholder visibility, and aligned incentives to raise ethical signals that matter.
We don’t just collect ethics data—we use it to inform our voting posture and market perspective. Our role as a civic shareholder ensures that trust-building isn’t just encouraged—it’s accountable, to investors, to institutions, and to the public interest.

Founder Bio
Scott Essex, Founder and CEO, is a former Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer with decades of experience navigating corporate conduct, investigations, compliance risk and regulatory matters in large, complex organizations. With deep expertise in regulatory systems, capital markets, and AI, Scott built Activaited Inc. as a civic infrastructure for a new era—one where the scale, speed, and asymmetry of AI have outpaced traditional accountability systems, which no longer protect the people, organizations, and public interest they were meant to serve.
Why We Are Different
- We’re not social media—we’re civic media.
- We’re not political—we’re principled.
- We’re not bystanders—we’re shareholders.
Activaited Inc.’s Ethics-as-a-System™ isn’t another product or service—it’s foundational, scalable infrastructure for transparency, accountability, and trust in the modern workplace.
- Accountability without courts or retaliation (litigation is prolonged and costly)
- Transparency without mandates or politics (regulation is slow and not forward-looking)
- Trust without tribalism (not performative for effect, but participatory for impact)
Other systems ask for your trust. We enable it—and return it to the people, organizations and markets that rely on it and can’t operate sustainably without it.
